The parent sponsorship program will open to 10,000 applicants, and BC PNP has opened a pilot program for investors.

We will be visiting South Africa from Saturday 14 April 2018 – Wednesday 18 April 2018. We have been approached by several employers in many industries and several of our clients have managed to find work with our guidance during the past 2 months. We have received 3 recent complaints from foreign nationals who paid money to a company with a Canadian address and phone number. It was reported in the Globe and Mail of 23 February 2018 that Canada’s unemployment rate is now the lowest it has been in 10 years.

With such a diverse cultural makeup in Canada, December is a month of many different celebrations. The Matrixvisa Team wish you and your family a wonderful holiday celebration and a Happy New Year! In November 2017 Canada gained 88 000 news jobs. This is the biggest increase in jobs since 2012, when we came out of a recession (www.cbc.ca dated 1 Dec 2017). A very interesting article was written by Edward Keenan in the Toronto Star on 7 Sept 2017 about children staying at home alone. It was reported in The Province (www.theprovince.com) that 3 envelopes of cash were found in the city of Coquitlam as well as a diamond ring in Metrotown (both in the Vancouver area) – both were turned into the police. We are again visiting South Africa and Namibia from Friday 10 November – Friday 16 November 2017. The Alberta government has announced a major immigration policy change that will take effect on 1 January 2018. We wrote a letter to the Minister of Immigration in NB showcasing South Africa as a valuable source country for immigrants with the hope that the NB government will choose to conduct information session in South Africa in the future. Our open vacancies at the moment are for an agronomist, HD mechanics, CNC machinists, farm supervisors and overhead crane technicians.
Matrixvisa Issue No. 3/2017 – Canada Celebrates 150, Vacancies, Summer & Wild Fires, SA & Nam Meetings August 2017
It was reported in the Globe and Mail on 7 July 2017, that the Canadian economy created 55 000 jobs just in May 2017 and 45 000 jobs in June 2017. During the past 12 months Canada developed 351 000 jobs. The unemployment rate dropped to 6.5 % by June 2017. Currently there are 200 wildfires burning in British Columbia (started by lightning strikes). Several towns (over 14,000 people) have been evacuated and a state of emergency has been established. We are again visiting South Africa and Namibia from 17 -25 August for initial consultation meetings.
Cobus Kriek, the Owner of Matrixvisa Inc, was invited by the ‘Canadian Parliamentary Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration’ to appear before the committee on 5 April 2017. He will be providing an opinion about the role of oversight bodies in regulating and providing adequate oversight of regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants. It was reported that despite the downturn in the oil price there are still 44 000 vacant jobs in Alberta (CBC, 5 March 2017). Many of these seem to be in the food services and hospitality industries. We are pleased to announce that Matrixvisa will be visiting Namibia for the first time on our next trip to South Africa in May 2017. Once again the requirements for doctors are becoming stricter. The prerequisite will now increase to MCCEE, The MCC Part1 and the MCC Part 2 Exams. WE have many vacancies: tool and die makers, mechanical designed, electrical technician or engineer.
You’ve heard correctly! Our head office has moved to British Columbia. Thank you for all of your patience, and we are so excited to be settled into our new office. Matrixvisa has been working very hard over the past 10 weeks to lobby the government to reverse the November express entry changes that resulted in an Express Entry points drop of 550 points for an Applicant with an LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment). We have assisted several employers to write to the Minister of IRCC and have provided information to large national industry organizations to help them in their lobbying efforts as well. Cobus Kriek will be available for in-person consultations in South Africa from 25 February until 6 March 2017.
Two weeks ago our telecommunication service provider in South Africa closed its doors permanently without prior warning – as a result we lost our phone number. Our new South African Office Phone Number is: 010 285 0493. Four changes will become effective on 19 November 2016. I am aware of 3 industry organizations that are lobbying to try and stop the changes. Six family physicians are required for a Saskatchewan town. Matrixvisa will be touring through South Africa during 26 November – 1 December 2016. There are many shortages in the agricultural, mining and telecommunications industries.
The Minister of Immigration Refugees and Citizenship (IRCC) indicted that he plans to substantially increase immigration to Canada. The past couple of months there has been several reports of bear and wolf attacks on Canadians. It is therefore always wise to be well prepared with bear spray etc. The Film Industry is Booming in BC. Canada is expecting the second largest crop of wheat canola and other grains in Canadian history with 36,6 million tonnes this year. The problem however is that wheat prices and canola prices are the lowest since 2006. One of the best cities in the world: Canada takes 3rd place.
