On August 11, 2021, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued invitations to apply to candidates in the Expression of Interest system pool who may qualify for the Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills stream.
You may apply to the Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills stream if you received an invitation to apply on August 11, 2021.
The OINP targeted candidates under this stream with work experience in the national occupational codes (NOC) below:
Health and agricultural occupations:
- NOC 3413 – nurse aides, orderlies and patient service associates
- NOC 4412 – home support workers and related occupations, excluding housekeepers
- NOC 8431 – general farm workers
- NOC 8432 – nursery and greenhouse workers
- NOC 8611 – harvesting labourers
- NOC 9462 – industrial butchers and meat cutters, poultry preparers and related workers
Manufacturing (outside the GTA only):
- NOC 9411 – machine operators, mineral and metal processing
- NOC 9416 – metalworking and forging machine operators
- NOC 9417 – machining tool operators
- NOC 9418 – other metal products machine operators
- NOC 9421 – chemical plant machine operators
- NOC 9422 – plastics processing machine operators
- NOC 9437 – woodworking machine operators
- NOC 9446 – industrial sewing machine operators
- NOC 9461 – process

At the moment only a small number of trades require Canadian certification in BC. They are elevator mechanics, certain trades that operate ammonia as well power engineers.
Others such as welders, electricians, automotive mechanics did not have to obtain a Red Seal in Canada to work in these occupations. It was reported in the media that certain trades will require certification in the future such as construction electrician, industrial electrician, powerline technician, gasfitter, steamfitter-pipefitter, heavy equipment technician and automotive service technicians.
The electrical trades will require certification in 2023 (18 months) and the rest in 2025.

Mr. Nir Babani the previous owner of UIS Canada (https://www.uiscanada.com) are now being investigated after several complaints have been received.
The regulator, ICCRC reported the following: “We are writing to advise that ICCRC has formally initiated a disciplinary proceeding against Nir Babani, R407271. The first step in the proceeding is a motion to seek an interim suspension of Nir Babani’s membership with ICCRC pending the final adjudication of the merits of misconduct alleged in the complaints. If ICCRC is successful on this motion Nir Babani will not be able to legally offer immigration services in Canada until the Disciplinary Committee makes a final decision on the merits of the complaints. Not all the complaints we have received against Nir Babani are identified in the interim motion proceeding.”

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MB PNP) invites foreign nationals that has been working in Manitoba for six months as well as foreign nationals that is outside of Canada.
Those invited from outside of Canada are recruited via the “Skilled Worker Overseas” stream also known as the “Strategic Recruitment Initiative”. The points applicants had to score were as follow:
7 June 2021- 708 points
1 June 2021- 601 points
25 May 2021- 703 points
6 May 2021- 703 points
26 April 2021- 721 points
Applicants will require a job offer to reach the required points

Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada just released the application guide for the “Temporary Residence to Permanent Residence Pathway” stream (TR to PR for short) that outline the required documents and forms to have ready for submission.
This new pathway is designed to help the following persons obtain permanent residence in the following categories.
- International student graduates;
- Essential workers in healthcare;
- Essential workers in other occupations;
- French-speaking international student graduates;
- French-speaking essential workers in healthcare;
- French-speaking essential workers in other occupations
The program will accept applicants until 5 November 2021 unless the quota is filled before that date for the categories above.
