Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program New Requirement

From March 27, 2025, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program will require all applicants to be existing temporary resident of Canada. Therefore, the foreign nationals will require a LMIA or an open work permit, unless being recruited by an employer in the Healthcare, Agriculture, or Skilled trades occupation.

Additionally, nominations will be capped at 25% of the annual allocation for 3 industries: Accommodations and Food Services, Retail Trade, and Trucking sectors.
